Your Publicity Committee

 
The Publicity Committee undertakes general marketing and awareness initiatives on behalf of the Congregation.

As well as promoting awareness of the Congregation itself, the Publicity Committee supports the many fundraising and special events that are held throughout the year.

The Committee publishes a Publicity Guide to help those planning special events. As well as many useful tips and hints for conducting successful publicity for your event, the guide includes guidelines for issuing public service announcements and press releases. These are accompanied by a fully updated media contact list, along with template e-mails and fax cover sheets with the e-mail addresses/fax numbers already filled in! All this is intended to help your group's upcoming events be as successful as possible.

Of course, the Committee also makes itself available to any group for brainstorming and planning.

The Publicity Committee also works alongside the other congregations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the Canadian Unitarian Council (CUC) to co-ordinate activities in the GTA, as well as CUC regional and national initiatives.
