The process leading to choice of a new annual congregational project by members at the May 2007 annual general meeting has begun. We need you to generate ideas and potential projects. What issue or situation in Toronto or the world provokes your passionate response? What would positive change look like? What piece of the solution might translate into an action project involving members of First?

The annual project:
o Focuses on action that can produce results by the end of a year
o Involves many members of the congregation
o Is consistent with UU principles
o May have a partner organization whose principles align with ours
o Has a financial component commensurate with its goals

January to February is the time to develop ideas by talking to others who might have similar passions and concerns. Please get in touch with me (416 482-5607 or marg.van@sympatico.ca). We can get together for further information and discussion of your ideas and how they might work. Horizons, the list-serve and this site will be available to find supporters for your project. The proposal form is posted on this site and copies are available in my mailbox in the lower hall. The deadline is the end of February.
