Social Justice Resolutions Process

Date: Sunday, May 08, 2011 12:15 pm
Currently our congregation does not have a formal process in place for establishing a congregational position on social justice issues and concerns. Over the past year the Social Justice Committee has been developing a Social Justice Resolution Process. The committee presented the process to our Board in March and it was agreed to present it to the members of the congregation at our Annual General Meeting.
Copies of the process document are available in the church office. We will also hold an information session at 12:15 pm on Sunday, May 8 to explain the process and answer members’ questions prior to the vote at the AGM. Please join the discussion.
