TransformTO

The TransformTO plan includes short and long-term actions to meet the City’s greenhouse gas [GHG] reduction targets of 65 per cent by 2030, and 80 per cent by 2050. Meeting these targets will require big changes in how we live, work, build, travel, and more.

In Toronto, our homes and buildings, vehicles, and waste are the largest sources of GHG emissions. Reducing these emissions will require participation from all of Toronto’s communities and residents.

Join the Green Team for a conversation about how members and friends of First can help shape Toronto’s climate action strategy. Bring a vegetarian dish (and your own plate/cutlery) to share; children welcome!

Social Justice Town Hall: Across the Generations

Join us in Sunderland Hall for an intergenerational Town Hall, where we’ll lift up our hopes and concerns for Social Justice work at First. We’ll talk about the great work that’s occurring, challenges we’ve encountered, and our highest aspirations for the future.

Just like a strong choir, we’ll need as broad a range of voices as possible, so bring your friends of every age and perspective. All are welcome.

Beverages and a light snack will be provided; please bring any additional food you will need for the session.
