Our library book review circle will resume with a meeting on September 11. Everyone is welcome to join us in the Library after the coffee hour (12:15-1:15 pm) to hear congregation members review two recently acquired books and to join in the open discussion afterwards.

No meeting is scheduled for October because of the Activity Fair and Thanksgiving, so our next meeting will be November 6, with the theme being OUR HISTORIES. Lynn Hughes reviews Guarding Sacred Embers: Reflections on Canadian Unitarian and Universalist History, published in 2011 by the Canadian Unitarian and Universalist Historical Society, and Janice Tait reviews Invisible influence: claiming Canadian Unitarian and Universalist women's history, Jean Pfleiderer, Heather Fraser Fawcett, and Kathy S. Sage, editors, 2011.
