Issues & Ideas: Radical Inclusion

Meghan Edmonds reviews Tanya Talaga, Seven Fallen Feathers: Racism, Death, and Hard Truths in a Northern City. Terri Palmer reviews T.H. Luhrmann, When God Talks Back: Understanding the American Evangelical Relationship with God.

I&I is a monthly book review forum where members of our congregation can find new and old friends and discuss ideas after coffee hour (12:15 - 1:30 pm), generally on the 4th Sunday of the month, in the library next to Workman Hall. Usually two reviewers present a 15 minute review each of a book relevant to the congregational theme of the month, followed by questions and discussion. You can participate or just listen - everyone is welcome.

Peter and Lynn Hughes present Dan McKanan ed., A Documentary History of Unitarian Universalism, Volumes 1 and 2. This important new publication, an anthology selected by a panel that includes our own Peter Hughes and Mark Morrison-Reed, reveals the spiritual resources and rich heritage of thought created by the UU community.
