In Shaw Hall, Barb will talk about Mark's journey through life and easy ways to approach him. Andy, the ED at New Visions Toronto, where Mark lives, and Lyndel Hill will talk about challenges facing people with complex needs.

Lunch will be sold in Workman Hall for $5, and Shaw Hall will be transformed into a cozy cafe fit for boardgames and snacks.

Pulse Pot Luck Lunch

Time to check your pulse.

The year of 2016 has been declared by United Nations as “The Year of the Pulse”. To feature the nutritional, health and environmental benefits of adding more pulse to our diets, the Green Sanctuary Group is hosting a pulse potluck in Workman Hall.

There will be a short presentation by Doug Buck and time for discussion on the benefits of adding chickpeas, lentils, peas, etc. to your diet.

You are all invited to bring a pulse dish of your choosing (as well as the recipe) to share.

Red Hot Ramble Fundraiser

This Friday (Sept. 30th), our own Jacek Zorawski and his 5-piece Red Hot Ramble band will present a glorious combination of New Orleans music styles including traditional jazz, blues, southern gospel, ragtime, Afro-
Cuban, Cajun, Dixieland and Zydeco. This is a fundraising event, so come and enjoy an evening of great entertainment and support our congregation.

Doors open at 7:30PM; the fun begins at 8PM. Tickets at the door.
