This is Amnesty Sunday when we participate in the annual Amnesty Write for Rights and focus on the Human Rights of Indigenous Peoples. There will be a special collection to support the work of Amnesty International followed by letter writing after the service.

Amnesty calendars, cards and other great merchandise will be available for purchase during coffee hour.

Pro-Female Movie Night - “The Lion in Winter” (Fri. 14 Dec, 2012 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

The movies can be viewed free of charge, but there will be a charge for refreshments (popcorn and other junk food - bring your own soft drinks) of $5 per person – or pay what you can.

Sacred Circle Dance Solstice Gathering (Sat. 15 Dec, 2012 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm)

Softy Through the Dark - the Toronto Sacred Circle Dance and Potluck supper to mark the Winter Solstice will be held Dec 15 from 2 PM - 11 PM at Bloor Street United Church, 300 Bloor Street, Toronto.

There will be dancing in the afternoon and the evening.

Dinner will begin around 5:30 pm. Please bring food to share - each person is expected to contribute to the meal.

Many of us like to wear white for this occasion - please join us in this if you like.

“Come, come whoever you are!” In the spirit of community we dance for hope, for healing and for fun. No dance experience necessary.
