“Five Smooth Stones” (Sun. 14 Apr, 2013 10:30 am - 11:30 am)

Sermon by Rev. Shawn Newton.

Admittedly, ours is not the easiest faith to explain, or, sometimes, grasp. Theologian James Luther Adams, in his "Five Smooth Stones of Religious Liberalism," has offered us a handy framework to the essence of what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist. These have been summed up as Learn, Love, Give, Work, and Hope. We'll take up each of these five smooth stones on Sunday and consider how they might be used as a tool in our own lives.
