Sermon by Rev. Shawn Newton.
It’s been said, in Unitarian circles, that if we do something more than once, it’s a tradition! So, I’m happy to announce we’re establishing a tradition of transforming Valentine’s as a time to celebrate not only romantic love, but all kinds of love.
Sunday’s service will be another marvelous mix of moving music and powerful poems that speak to the love found in many different types of relationships. I’ve enjoyed the time I’ve devoted in recent weeks to selecting the poems I very much look forward to sharing with you. They range from the humourous to the heartwrenching, and touch on most every thing in between. The choir and our resident musicians will be offering music that speaks to the many facets of love, as well. So, come, join us for this celebration of the heart.
In faith and love,
