Is your goal to read, to listen, to speak, to meditate, to contribute, to vote, to heal, to work toward a healthy, just community?
Maybe you’re tired? You’re frustrated? You’re looking for a “way in”? You’re looking for that, “GO TEAMMATE, YOU CAN DO IT!” feeling?
If you’re in your 20s or 30s, we are reaching out to connect with you. We want to share a place to begin; we want to offer a calm, caring place to take a break.
Join us for a night of heartful practices for supporting ourselves and our community. It’s a perfect place to meet new friends who are working right along with you! Together, we’ll explore a range of low-stress practices for writing, speaking, moving— even eating— meant to boost physical energy, diffuse anxious feelings, and help you feel more in harmony with the people around you. Perhaps you’ll encounter a listening/breathing/stretching/reading/reflecting practice that fits beautifully in your regular routine?
Healing In Action is hosted by Mairin Smit, Angela Klassen, and Jason Burton. We’ll meet in Workman Hall, the gathering space at the top of the stairs where Coffee Hour gathers after Sunday Services. We’ll be serving light refreshments. Please RSVP by filling out this online form.
