Sermon by Rev. Lynn Harrison.
We know that change is a natural and inevitable part of life. But when it comes to our own lives, it might come as a surprise…and, sometimes, a struggle.
Personal change isn’t always easy, and at many stages of life, we can be caught up in changes we didn’t choose or expect.
On the journey of spiritual growth, we can learn to respond to change in new ways, that can change us for the better.
As we continue with our worship series on change this week, we’ll provide the opportunity once again to light candles for joy or concern, or place stones in water to mark where we stand today in the ever-transforming river of life.
In addition to reflecting on our worship theme with words, I’ll add music to my sermon this week. Also, we’ll hear a beautifully uplifting piece from the First Unitarian choir, to inspire us toward all the positive changes we hope for our lives.
