A wordmark communicates in visual form what we are saying to the world about ourselves. Over time, it becomes a symbol of and for our community, reflecting in artistic form the kind of community we seek to be.

This wordmark speaks to the essential nature of this congregation: that together we form a community, with the search for truth at our centre. Each one of us joins in the search as we gather to be together in our spiritual journeying. It is also representative of the universe, an acknowledgement of the vastness of life of which we are a part, and toward which we hold both awe and reverence. It is also reminiscent of the sun, which gives warmth and light to the world and helps us find our way. There are similarities between the cosmic circle logo and our copper chalice and sun. And if you think about the cross-section of a flame, perhaps it just might look like this!
