Our library book review circle will resume with a meeting on September 11.  Everyone is welcome to join us in the Library after the coffee hour (12:15-1:15 pm) to hear congregation members review two recently acquired books and to join in the open discussion afterwards.
September 11, 12:15  SPIRITUAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY: Lynn Hughes reviews The Confessions of St. Augustine, and Gerta Moray reviews Hundreds and Thousands, The Journals of Emily Carr
(N.B. this will finish in time for the Peace Encounter at 1:30 - bring a sandwich to the meeting if you wish)
And upcoming:
No meeting is scheduled for October because of the Activity Fair and Thanksgiving, so our next meeting will be November 6, with the theme being OUR HISTORIES. Lynn Hughes reviews Guarding Sacred Embers: Reflections on Canadian Unitarian and Universalist History, published in 2011 by the Canadian Unitarian and Universalist Historical Society, and Janice Tait reviews Invisible influence: claiming Canadian Unitarian and Universalist women's history, Jean Pfleiderer, Heather Fraser Fawcett, and Kathy S. Sage, editors, 2011.

Our Pagan Grove (Fri. 13 Apr, 2012 7:30 pm)

This is an eclectic Pagan group, welcoming women and men honouring any earth-based spirituality. New people are always welcome. It meets on the second Friday of each month at 7:30 pm.
