Sermon by Curtis Murphy.
July is upon us, and with it the heat of the summer. I hope everyone is finding ways to stay cool, and to stay connected to community. For those of you travelling or on vacation, may it be a time of renewal and replenishment. For those of you immersed in the ups and downs of the day-to-day, may there be moments of rest, contentment, and laughter sprinkled throughout.
This Sunday at First, we'll be using Satish Kumar's book, Soil, Soul, and Society: A New Trinity for our Times (perhaps a trinity even Unitarians can get behind!) as the starting place for an exploration of what it means to be human in our place and time. Whether you plan to join us in person, online, or in spirit, I wish you a wonderful weekend.
Yours on the journey,
View the Order of Service.
